About Joy Free Job Training CIC
Joy Free Job Training CIC is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in St Helens. We provide practical, community-focused training and support that helps people build skills, improve employability, and take confident next steps into work or further learning. We also support community groups and small organisations with low-cost workspace and administrative services, so they can meet, plan, and deliver their work professionally. Our activities align with our registered SIC areas: other education not elsewhere classified, other social work activities without accommodation not elsewhere classified, and other service activities not elsewhere classified.

We share key information about what we deliver, how participants develop skills, and the outcomes that follow, from improved confidence and employability to clearer routes into work and learning. We also use participant feedback and basic outcome tracking to strengthen our sessions and keep our services focused on real needs.
CURRENT PROJECT Women Create (CommUnity Grants Scheme)

Women Create is a community project funded by St Helens Borough Council’s CommUnity Grants Scheme. It is delivered from 2 March 2026 to 2 October 2026, with £10,000 of grant support.
This project creates a safe, welcoming space for women to connect, learn, and build confidence through practical creative activity. It is also a chance to reduce isolation, strengthen wellbeing, and grow local friendships that last beyond the sessions.
We will run a programme of activities that help participants express themselves, develop new skills, and share their stories in a supportive setting. Sessions will be friendly, beginner-inclusive, and focused on participation, not perfection.
